Jim's Car Shop
Jim's Car
Shop was started in 1966, born in the muscle car era. Cars of that time needed constant
tuning and adjustment. Because of his success on the drag strip, people from all around
the country would bring Jim Wick their vehicles for attention.
Fortunately for Jim,
he chose Chrysler for his muscle. Chrysler was without doubt the king of the muscle car
era. Everyone knows about the 426 HEMI.
The people who's
vehicles and engines Jim would service were not the only ones taking notice of Jim's
success on and off the track. Chrysler Performance came calling in 1967 and began taking
part in the Wick racing program. Providing technical assistance and high performance parts
to the racing program, it became natural for this advantage to also flow to his high
performance business and this relationship exists today.
There have been a
number of great performing vehicles to come out of the Jim's Car Shop stables. (See Customer Cars and Pro Stock Avenger).
Each one allows Jim's Car Shop to gain experience and knowledge about the high performance
automotive industry. Today, with son Jeff, Jim uses this experience and knowledge along
with constant advances in technology to bring customers the best parts, services and
technical advice available.
